Located in Hammersmith, Sacred Heart High School is a Roman Catholic secondary school and Sixth Form for girls aged between 11 and 19. Sacred Heart was founded in 1893 by the nuns of the Society of the Sacred Heart. There are currently 1,133 students at the school including the 152 girls who attend the Sixth Form.

The school aims to teach young women using the core tenets of the school: faith, intellect, social awareness, community, and personal growth. Ofsted described the school at ‘outstanding’ and ‘exceptional’ in their most recent report due to the standard of teaching and facilities. All students are expected to do at least two after school clubs to enrich their learning. The school has a large arts centre and chapel to enrich students’ holistic experience of their studies.

Looking at public examination statistics from 2019, 52% of all GCSE results were between Grades 9-7. In the Sixth Form, 58% of students achieved grades between A*- B with 37% of all grades being between A* to A. The majority of students went on to attend higher education, and the graduating class of 2019 had 88% students apply to university, while 66% were offered places at their university of choice.
