Saint Cecilia’s Church of England school is a secondary school and Sixth Form for students aged between 11 to 18. There are currently 970 students with 200 students in the Sixth Form and the school is co-educational. The school was opened in 2003 and has specialisms in Music and Mathematics. Students are encouraged to do well in these subjects and are sorted into houses named after mathematicians and musicians: Schubert, Archimedes, Ives, Newton, and Turing.

The school’s mission statement focuses on ‘Glorifying God through outstanding, enjoyable education.’ The curriculum and encouragement for students to peruse extra-curricular activities encourages students to fulfil this mission.

Students have the use of a chapel for worship and regular prayer sessions. The school also has large playing fields, a sports hall and dance studio. Saint Cecilia’s also have a partnership with London Irish Rugby Club to give boys in the Sixth Form an intense coaching and training regime with professional rugby coaches.

The examinations results from 2019 included 83% of GCSE students achieving between a Grade 9 to 4 in their English examinations and 78% of students received between Grades 9 to 4 in their Mathematics GCSE. In the Sixth Form, 56% of A-level students achieved a grade between A* to B and 26% of grades were between an A* to A. Many of the graduating students received places to study at Russell Group universities including Oxbridge.
