15 Things to Do with the Family this Summer from a Londoner

As private tutors in London we understand that your children don’t want to spend their whole holiday working so here are some fun and interesting things to do in London:

1. Visit the Queen Elizabeth Olympic park for slides, drumming and an urban beach!
2. Park Run – into exercise? Well try a run in your local park, open for all ages and abilities (tip from Kings Tutors- private tutors in London: Go to Richmond park to see the deer)
3. Fed up of riding the tube, why not let your children drive one at The Transport Museum
4. Climb the O2 – climb over the top of the O2 and get a wonderful view
5. Want to cool off? Try swimming in the Serpentine
6. Into Zoology, well your child can become become a zookeeper for a day at ZSL London Zoo
7. How about a sleepover with Dinosaurs! That’s right the Natural History Museum have a Dino Snores evening (tip: also check out the Natural History Museum Late section we suggest the comedy show)
8. Potterhead? Why not try a walking tour (or if you don’t fancy walking there is a bus tour) of Harry Potter sites around London
9. Fancy a walk and liked The BFG movie, try following The BFG Dream Jar Trail
10. Or fed up of walking try Roller Skating (every Friday evenings)
11. Like fast, fun action – try a RIB ride down The Thames
12. To coincide with our book club why not try The Paddington Bear walking tour
13. Pet lover should go to the Cat café in Shoreditch (tip from private tutors in London: Book early!)
14. Visit The Children’s Story Center and follow the story trail that will make your kids imagination come to life
15. Finally one for the evenings – if the weather permits visit an Open air cinema
